The package will be lightweight, however,  the artwork will be secured in an industrial-strength foam board used for construction. The foam board will be able to endure any abuse for shipping the artwork around the world. The foam boards will vary in thickness, color, type, shape, size, and quality. The artwork you purchased will be delivered to you in “Raw” form. The artwork will be secured to the foam and or some type of slip sheet. Please, read the removal instructions carefully to prevent damage upon removal. “Raw” form Is exactly as the artwork was created without any form of display such as frames, enclosures, and or matting.

When the artwork is produced such as a painting or a drawing, the artwork is dried and preserved in a climate-controlled area. The artwork is then kept flat and carefully placed vertically until the piece has completely dried and the D.N.A. is no longer a “Safety Risk”.

The artwork is kept in a climate-controlled area for the duration of the “maturity” of the artwork. The artwork is not truly complete until the art is completely dry and has been “matured” for a minimum of a 6 month time period.

The “maturing” process is an art form of its own. During the stages of D.N.A. decomposition, the art will be affected in a variety of ways. Blood will appear much darker over time and will remain permanently as applied if the artwork is dried and stored properly.

In other circumstances, The Skeleton’s Closet will intentionally store certain artwork in climates to provoke mold, bacterial growth, blurring and distortion, and decomposition to create something more disgusting and more disturbing.

All D.N.A. artwork that is sold from The Closet of Doctor Skeleton and this website has been secured and safely kept for many years. This ensures the safety of the project and also confirms the outcome of the artwork. When using decomposing elements for “art”, the older the artwork is, the safer it becomes. Additionally, some artwork is created intentionally to continue discoloration over many years to keep the art disturbing.

Depending on the type of D.N.A. Doctor Skeleton chooses to apply to his work, directly depends on the decay process and the decomposition, and the aspects of the vision for the piece itself. Every type of secretion has a different and significant value to add to the artwork. Often times hidden messages and images will be displayed on the artwork that is not visible to the naked eye, and many times that is done with bodily secretions.

In order to truly appreciate the work of Doctor Skelton, you will need ultraviolent lighting for the full effect of the piece. Sometimes the body fluids are added directly to the piece, sometimes body fluid is used for an actual signature, and other times body fluids are used for adding to inks, paint, and or charcoals and graphites.

Historical Information

Doctor Skeleton’s Closet is the only in the world of its kind. We do not sell entire human skeletons. All of our human skeletons will soon become the last of the artwork ever produced by Doctor Skeleton. There will be a finite number of sculptures ever produced and there will be very few of them sold.

If you have purchased artwork from Doctor Skeleton’s Closet then you are some of the only people in the world to have some of these elaborate very limited works of art. Doctor Skeleton will produce 7 7 7 pieces total in his lifetime, only thirteen of which will be human skulls. (Provided he lives long enough to complete his artistic vision).

There will be approximately 500 more works of art sold worldwide including Sculptures, Paintings, Drawings, Oddities, etc. The artwork will be limited to the number of Human Bones left to create and sculpt from. The D.N.A. used in the Artwork will be limited to the life span of Doctor Skeleton.

The vast majority of the artwork was obtained from a private collection and was created nearly a decade ago. There are very few newly created works of art from Doctor Skeleton. This collection is very limited and it never will be reproduced, copied, or duplicated in any way. Every work of art is one-of-a-kind.

There are will only be 7 7 7 works of art in total that will be created for sale to the general public and or our V.I.P.’s. The entire collection will be limited to those 7 7 7 works of creative historical art. Each item will have it’s own identification number that will be written on the back of the certificate of authenticity.

The historical value of this limited edition will be studied indefinitely… We make history. In order to preserve the integrity of the entire collection, the artwork has to be numbered and cataloged for authenticity.

We prefer to recognize our clients and patrons as approximately 1,000 members who have participated in Making World History Together. To keep the authenticity of each member the identification number of that client is the same exact number as the artwork that was obtained.

If a client chooses to obtain more than one item of artwork then that would affect the number of members worldwide. If a patron makes a donation to Doctor Skeleton,  then their private identification will be added to the “membership list”.

Since we do not keep any private or personal information those clients who obtain the artwork will be the only people in the world who know they are a member. The only way to actually verify the authenticity of the artwork is to use ultraviolet light to find the D.N.A. on the artwork itself.

Then simply verify the D.N.A.  from the letter of authenticity, the client’s personal member identification number on the certificate would be the number of the artwork sold and their V.I.P.I.D., again, this number can vary depending on how many works of art this collector has obtained.

We do not see our clients and patrons as customers… “We See Our Very Important People” as collectors and clients and members of world history and we value both their support and their business.
